Lighthouse Overview

Lighthouse is a centralized management platform that provides secure, always-available access to Opengear devices and the downstream infrastructure they connect to. It enables operators to remotely monitor, manage, and troubleshoot fleets of Opengear nodes as well as attached network and compute devices — even during network outages.

Lighthouse is delivered as a virtual appliance and can be deployed on customer hardware (VMware or Hyper-V) or on supported cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

Through Opengear nodes, Lighthouse provides out-of-band visibility and control of downstream devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.

Lighthouse Management Software is certified to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Note: Lighthouse does not support use on mobile devices (IOS or Android).
